Ever had one of those days you finish everything you’d want to do by 12pm and find yourself finally being able to sit down and not do anything? Today’s my day. Even though I could have called up work to tell them I was avail, I felt entitled to a rest finally.
Here I am on a lazy afternoon, siting in my dooner with a hot cuppa and my trusty kindle reading The Alchemyst. Really good read by the way, if you like magic, alchemy, egyptian gods and mythology sorts of stuff.
I always though of myself as a diligent and responsible worker. Today I found myself in trouble when I realised that I made a tiny error at looking at the time scheduled for work, and this had probably costed me my job.
What more, once again I’m reminded that life is never smooth sailing. Just when you think every thing is going great, you run into a wall and it bounces you back. However, we should never give up no matter how hard it is, because you would be missing out on what you wanted to achieve completely. Not everyone gets to a destination on a straight path, but remember to just keep trying.
It is almost the end of my placement but im starting to feel like I belong. I really wish that I would be able to work as a nurse permanently in such a wonderful hospital like St Vincents.

A very very Yummy potato dish you have to try! It got me thinking if it was actually potatoes when I ate this as it felt crispy just like lotus root.
Is it an energy drink? If it is I think I need one that takes away my back pain too. Recently just started placement at St Vincents and my back is already killing me, something like this Elixir drink (if it really does work) might heal me to full health!
